Metro Meter Support

Restoring after reinstalling or changing devices
Sign in to the same Metro Meter account and open Backup & Sync. Metro Meter downloads server-acknowledged record revisions incrementally and merges them with the account's local workspace. It does not replace the local database with a whole-account snapshot.
Only successfully synchronized supported data can return. Active or unfinished rides, active GPS samples, pending Square handoff state, device permissions, payment-app logins, locally saved places, and unsynchronized changes cannot be recovered through cloud sync. Completed ride maps download separately only when their encrypted route upload was acknowledged.
Before erasing app data or disposing of a device, confirm that Backup & Sync says Up to date, shows no waiting changes, and has no unresolved conflicts. “Saved locally” does not mean “acknowledged by the server.” If recovery or conflict review fails, keep the original device and local app data intact while contacting support.
Offline use, pending changes, and conflicts
Local business saves continue offline. Pending changes stay queued across app restarts and retry when eligible connectivity returns. If sync access expires, local editing continues and uploads wait without deleting queued work. When two devices make incompatible changes, Metro Meter preserves a conflict for review instead of silently choosing one version.
Account switching and deletion
Signing out does not delete local business data. Signing in as a different user creates or selects a different workspace; Metro Meter does not upload the prior account's workspace to the new account.
Account deletion is available from Account settings. It removes account-linked cloud database records and schedules separately stored encrypted route objects for retried deletion, but it does not erase business records remaining locally on a device. Deleting a Metro Meter account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel subscriptions from Metro Meter or your Apple account.
